Therapeuthic Garden and Running Path
Outdoors activities are a vital part of the Lefay SPA Method. On this account, the Resort offers within its wide natural park
of 11 hectares, a running circuit “Nel Ritmo dei Passi il Vento e la Collina”, a fitness path “La Forma ed il Colore”
and the energy and therapeutic garden “Il Simbolo della Vita”. These outdoor wellness paths are rich in symbolism
and impregnated with archetypal meanings. They have the function of satisfying our primordial need of re-entering
in contact with nature.
Nel Ritmo dei Passi il Vento e Collina: the running circuit
Inside the property, within the large area at the Guests’ disposal, a running circuit has been designed. It is about 2.5 km
long and winds through hills and woods. There is an overall ramp of about 150 meters. Therefore it is particularly suitable
for runners who want to optimize their training as well as for those who wish to start off with efficacious walks.
In “Nel Ritmo dei Passi il Vento e la Collina” it is possible to realize this, enjoying a unique view in an uncontaminated
area in the shadow of centuries-old trees.
La Forma ed il Colore: the fitness path
Alongside the long walks through the park and on completion of them an area has
been provided where it is possible to do some healthy exercises in the open air.
There are 12 stations located in a dedicated area where it is possible to do movements
that increase strength and help recover the flexibility of tendons and muscles.
As for the running circuits all these exercises can be done breathing the energy of an
uncontaminated area and the breeze of a light and crystal air.
Il Simbolo della Vita: the energy and therapeutic garden
It is composed of 5 different seasons located in the different directions of the area, rich in symbolism
and impregnated with archetypal meanings. Overall, it is a path that reminds us of the progress of life
and its various periods, all full of specific functions and characterized by phases of growth and decline.
We describe them briefly.
Il Drago Verde
It is located to the East and represents the renaissance of nature, spring, the dawn of life. From the architectural point of view “Il Drago Verde” is located inside a wood and it is characterized by evergreen plants and by typical essences (mint).
La Fenice Rossa
It is located to the South and represents the peak of energy, the summer, and twelve o’clock. From the architectural point of view, “La Fenice Rossa” is characterized by the reddish color of the paving, by the round-oval shape (like the fire), by the typical essences of the season (lavender) and by the medicinal plants that sustain serenity (passion flower). The station is located to the South and offers a beautiful view over the mountains and the lake.
La Tigre Bianca
It is located to the West, the place of gathering, the start of meditation. From the architectural point of view, “La Tigre Bianca” is characterized by the presence of the color white, by the metal benches, by the typical essences (eucalyptus) and the typical medicinal plants (birch).
La Tartaruga Nera
It is located to the North. “La Tartaruga Nera” is located in a valley, with a rocky cave behind it and a small stream. The benches are car ved from the rock. There are no noises or views distracting from meditation. It is the station of the relationship with ourselves.
Il Centro
It is the station located at the centre of the energy and therapeutic garden. It is located on a hill and it is characterized by the presence of plants with yellow flowers and typical medicinal plants (lemon balm) and by an indescribable view.
